Illegal U-turn violation...

This was at the 'BIG' Stoneridge meet that happened tonight...

I was following my buddy and he didn't see the 'no u-turn' sign because it was so damn dark. So I followed him and saw the sign once he made the complete U-turn, but it was too late, the cop was already on my ass. Wrote both of us up for illegal u-turn.

Told him i didn't see it because i was following my friend and he says "Well, I can't write him up and not you.." You could have just let us BOTH go and enjoy the rest of the night checking out everyone's ride.\

Has anyone beat this violation? Or any tips? Me and my buddy are planning on going to court and fighting it, hoping the cop doesn't show up..

I received the same ticket two years ago it ended up costing me $250.

Sorry! My wife & I were there for only about an hour last night and saw several people get pulled over. Anyway, check out the site "Ticket Assassin." I've used him twice before and he knows what he's talking about! Costs $25 to access all the shareware forms. You want to do what's called a "trial by written declaration." Its easy to do - just fill in and mail the shareware forms. If the ticketing officer doesn't want to deal with all the extra paperwork this type of trial entails that he fill out, you will get out of the ticket. Anyway, go check out the site, it will explain it all.
