Has anyone tried on of those Dysons with the ball? I've got one, they're great

Yup, the handling is very good, probably due to the weight distribution. Plenty of power as well

I might get some bigger wheels for mine, and tint my dust bin as well.

The UK threads are all a mix of discussion about:
  • The Topic
  • Random Chat
  • Household Goods
... usually in reverse order!

Stay on-topic - none of this oven talk - we need to focus on vacuum cleaner modification.

Has anyone managed to fit a forced induction kit to get some more power from the root 8 cyclone?

Sorry slip of the keyboard!!

We've gone for a new 'HOOVER' not as slick as a Dyson, but has a good turbo! Raw Power that's what its all about!!

It means your dyson really sucks.

Now let's see what it can do with some new air intakes to really let it breathe.

I wonder if you can get dynos for hovers? Test out the manafacturer's power claims!

I think it might be underrated! It feels more like 230-235 airwatts to me!

Mind you, I did a hard break-in

We've got:

Dyson in Sparkling Graphite
Dyson in Alpine White
Goblin in Crimson Red
AquaVac in Black Sapphire

You just never know when you might need more suction

The Goblin and AquaVac both have custom input pipes to handle more s*!t that they were ever designed to take. In lab conditions they can suck up a whole bird.

What about the Metro Turbo 2000? A rare beast this side of the pond but it does have 4 peak HP and air-wash technology.. It does draw 12.45 amps though so not great for the environment.

Welcome Peter - what kind of fridge/vac etc do you run??
