I went ti dealer yesterday for my 07 328it. but the dealer try to sell me 328xit06 about $1500 over US invoice. I need a new car this October because my lease is up. they said they can not give me an discount like 06 now. so what should I do? nomoally they give a discount with a new model car in the first 2 months?

See what others are getting! Read the How much are you paying thread and see what other people are paying for and how much. The 328 coming this fall is not 2007 model?

There is no '06 328. Do you mean '06 325xiT?

Just looking at the pricing sheet and the new models are all 2007. I think the guy is pulling your leg. Do you have another dealer nearby that you can go to? Might be to your benefit. yes, I mean 325xit 06 and 328it 07. there are only 1 bmw dealer in Huntsville.
when is the last day to order 06 car?

The last day is dependent on the allocations left for that particular dealer. From what I have seen that day to order from Germany is coming to an end as we speak. I saw one guy was next to the last to get his car since the dealer had 2 allocations left.

Go for the '07...BMW allows you to extend your lease as long as you are ordering another BMW until the new one arrives. And 07 will offer the wagon without xdrive.

First I would tell him to shove his $1500 over invoice offer on the out-going model and offer him perhaps $300 to $500 over.

Do your research on the residual and money factor of the 06 325xiT and don't allow the dealer to add a markup on those numbers.

Or you can extend your current lease until the start of next year (07) and try to get a better deal then.

Or try another dealership. Good Luck

06 325xit is very close to being done in production. Doubtful you could get one built and there is a VERY limited supply in the U.S.

07 328it (non AWD) is about to click in to production and Dealers will not be discounting very heavily initially.

You can extend your current lease if you have any BMW on order.....

today, I talk to 3-4 dealer around here. I got $1000 over US invoice for 07 328it or 335. but I will get only $500 over invoice for 330 06. so more choice again... but what do you guy think ? good deal for 330 auto, nav, sport, premium, heated seats, sat radio for $42,360

I assumed the 06 325xit he was speaking of is in stock. That's why I said offer the dealer much less than what they offered him.

I think the '06 has to have a lower money factor ans a subvented rate.There's pricing out on the '07's so the numbers should help you make your decision
