New Golf GTi vi - worth changing to?
The new Gti is calling me....in Black, DSG with those 18"s (Problem is to match the spec on my 330d, the GTi is coming in over £28k )
http://http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/#...plore/gallery/ Thoughts or am I going to be disappointed?

It had a superb review in the Telegraph on Saturday, so must be worth consideration.

Had the previous version - was a very competent vehicle - def a jack of all trades, great all-round vehicle.
But i lost loads on resale after 14 months - prob cos i ordered one in white!

To be honest i changed cos i wasnt using the car at all so swapped it for a polo diesel!
It was a great car though - hit 130 a few times when not paying attention - and it was eager for more!

Golf is nice, well in fact, VERY nice
but for me it's gotta be a new Scirroco - drove past Autovogue last week and saw this beauty!! http://www.autovogue.com/sale-detail...o/ref-13221919 It looks even better in the metal |

I do like it as a car (see my post Scirocco vs 330d), but I would still buy the Gti over it - just an all round more useful car IMO. However, I think the cost to change would be nuts at the moment (Gti beeing so new), and does'nt really warrant a change over a 330d AKA I dont need it, but do want
