Better yet, will you guys offer a DIY? I have a question as to how to charge the new cooler if the valve only opens after 240.

nospleeny: That price has not been determined yet, however, please be certain we will make it as reasonable as possible.

Magna3: We already have a prototype FMIC ready, going into my car next week. We will have them ready to sell in about 3 weeks for about $500-$600. As for the oil cooler there will be a DIY that a member of this forum will be conducting for us. As for charging the core I would recommend driving your car hard (while still obeying all traffic safety laws) to get it to go above 240 then adding 1/2 a quart of oil.

Mr. 5: nothing is pressurized; just make sure your car is turned off before you disconnect the lines. I know I probably don’t have to mention that but its good to cover all bases.

Don't get me wrong, we so appreciate your approach to pricing.

If these products measure up - watch out good luck keeping up with demand

(drum roll)...

I will be the forum member putting together the DIY for the VK Motorwerks Oil Cooler. I was authorized by Vince himself to take charge of this and I hope to have it up for you guys by the end of next weekend.

I am not sure when all of the units are going to be heading out to customers but I hope to have everything done and posted before the majority get into yall's hands. I will be taking multiple detailed photos of every step and will be documenting everything I did to get the oil cooler to fit, and work properly.

From what I have seen so far this looks to be an amazing product and an even better price. I hope to be able to answer all of your questions concerning the install after I take it on for myself.

I keep seeing "thermostat adapter";
Is this a different thermostat?
What temperature is the stock thermostat set to open at?

The thermostat adaptor will allow the AN8 fittings to connect into the OEM thermostat. The OEM thermostat is not changed.

Hello Vince
Is it Possible to order and pay both together (Oil cooler and FMIC) and have it deliverred when its ready?
International delivery costs usually a bit... (of course I would like to see it before on a picture and only if I can install it without bumper remove like others.)

Thanks
