Hi Guys,

As many will know the Lux H8 is the best H8 replacement according to many reviews.

With no luck with their UK Distributor I was wondering of going directly to them.

On some of the other posts many of you have expressed an interest in the Lux, so I though if we can get a group buy going maybe we can get a discounted price.

I have emailed them to take the view on this but just wanted to get an interest to how many would actually be interested this.

UK Distributor quoted me £170 inc postage... so let's see how much we can get them from Lux directly. Same he's been out of stock or i would of had mine already!

I'm hoping to get a response from Lux soon, and i'll update this with the confirmed price.

The only way we could do this is send all of the lights in 1 package, and then they would need to be distributed by someone in the UK. We can't ship separately to the UK for a group buy.

Ok what if i take the responsibility to distribute then once they are in the UK.

What price can you offer them to us delivered?

It would be a good idea to find out if each set is packaged securely enough to send individually once in the UK, along with weight & dimensions to get an idea of cost

Hi Ed,

I own a telecoms company so will have packing materials which i could use of my own i.e. boxes and bubble wrap lol.

Why dont you opt in and i could come and drop yours off to you.. if this goes ahead that is!

I could well be interested, although Jan is an expensive car month for me (tax, insurance, tracker, MOT all due at the same time)

I'll keep an eye on developments

This is the pricing reply i have got from Lux based on a minimum of 5 orders.

''If you wanted to purchase a bunch of these they would be the $240 price each, and around $40 shipping for up to 5 sets. the shipping price would go up slightly from there for more sets''

This works out around $248 each plus inport taxes. Does anyone know what these will be?

Anyone interested? If not then i will place an order with them for 1 unit for me :-)

I'm still interested. However, January is an expensive month for most people.

I think if you did this in February, you may get more people taking part as a group buy.

With regards to the import taxes, I don't have a clue!

Please keep us updated with final costs.

Depending on the group buy price I might be interested in the v3 as they seem to fit the LCI E90
