After that report i really like the 40w Full SAPS. I do one after every oil change. Its cheap insurance when beating the crap out of something. Motul Is great stuff too.

Non of anything is saved to my hard drives because of the way i have it set up with my tuning computer

Funny you mention that. Notice how lean it gets at redline? Dont go by that sensor, its all screwy. Last time i was on that dyno it was perfect and matched exactly what my data logs read. So i didnt worry about it this time and just went off what the car was reading.

I assumed there was something wrong with the o2 readings there, generally when you get that rich you'd mis-fire on these motors.

I have a idea I might entertain that I got from the M5/M6. I Truly believe that ideally 180-190* oil temp is the key to sustained high horse power.
Im lazy and didnt go back through the build thread, but Im assuming the basic design is an OE thermostat delete, lines to the improved racing thermo from the delete plate, lines from that to a much larger core, return lines to the filter housing? Am I missing anything?

I really dont like how hot the motor runs either. Would much rather see it around 200 or so, think its crazy to run 30W in this thing if you are making serious power with the stock oil cooler. But I cant decide whether an oil cooler or dedicated AT cooler would be more worthwhile for now. Ugh who knows
This is really good stuff to realize. So for the moment his oil cooler was not upgraded?

Good stuff man! You're spraying meth though right? So it wouldn't be a pump gas record...lol

You're using procede and what kind of backend flash?

Keep up the good work! I wonder how much further you'll be able to run with that meth kit. Running a 6466 turbo I'd imagine power goal is ~900?

ehh it is what it is.

It started off with the Vishnu ST backend flash. All the fuel, timing, a little VANO work, and a bunch of random things I've done my self, along with all the procede maps including non meth map1.

The meth set up started off as an experiment, it had a lot of growing pain. Running 500+whp while experimenting with different maps, flow, pressure, ect isn't the easiest. It is EXTREMELY sensitive. 3-5% (procede scale) flow increase is a very drastic change in characteristics. I ended up running about 5-8%more than the original vishnu map but also 70-90 more whp. so I'm excited about that. Also my bank trims and AFR's are very symmetrical which was my main goal. The procede does a great job at controlling everything.

Not going for 900, however I did just finalize some plans to move forward with another project that I should have complete in 2-3 months that may or may not be a first.

The 6466 is making a lot more power than some other turbos at the same pressure with very little difference in spool and I'm talking 50ish HP

Yeah, it's making good power for sure. Sorry if i missed it, but how how many pounds of boost was that run?

Is your new project a completely different car/project or something dealing with this car?

Looking forward to seeing some track results now that you're getting her tuned in!

Peak was 26.2psi but from what I remember it was 25.8-26 for a majority of the higher end.

The project is with platform, its just very time consuming, tedious, and costly. But it'll be ready mid summer.

Yeah, she's defiantly getting prepped for the track. It should be a good year.

I look forward to seeing your project as well. Best of luck

Not sure if I missed this, but did you just base line without meth? Say a 93/e85 blend of some sort?

No everything has been on 93/meth. I did put 100oct in it after the dyno when we were messing around on the street, but that was just for shits and giggles. I'm a big fan of driving what I dyno. I think it's dumb to dyno for high power just to detune it for the street. As long as I have meth I just put 93 in it and I know what it'll do. I don't have to worry about mixing or concentrates. I will probably do a race gas tune for the 1/2 mile.

We should work together on this. I will be doing mine before July, and I have the M3 rep bumper as well.

Yeah, shit man, Terry made 617rw on the 5862 at 27psi, so yeah I'd say a solid ~90whp gain between the two turbos. Very nice!

And thank you, I'm really anxious to pick her up, literally any day now.
