My warranty expired. Don't want to chance anything and have to pay out of pocket. Going back to stock.

I am interested in this, but very new to tuning and how it works. Is this easy to install ? Do I just plug it in, and it it prompts me what to do? Is it virtually undetectable if I remove it before bringing it in for service? How does this compare to some of the other tuners out there?

^all you do is plug the accesspot into the OBD port in the car and follow the directions. if all goes well in 10-15 mins you will have the cobb tune on your car

Yes, it's as simple as plugging it into the OBD port and the device prompts you what to do. First install takes like 18 minutes. After that map changing takes only 2 minutes max. It's definitely the easiest to use of all the tunes out there, by far.

You can clear codes with it too so it should be undetectable. You take a small risk with ANY tune though.

I could not own one of these cars WITHOUT software....after having it in the car.

I had my JB4 out while they did the injectors and HPFP and it was miserable.

Hope you can "get clean" or go "cold turkey"

I know. I'm really sad I have to let this go. It's an awesome tune. Just not right at this point in time - finances are very tight right now and I don't want to risk anything.

Was it recall or another replacement after recall?

Sorry to hear that.....but you should sell me your exhaust since you're going "on the wagon".

Standard recall.....that led to them finding loose waste gates, which led to them replacing both turbos. The car runs really good now.....much stronger than it ever had.

You have to reinstall the 202 maps by going onto the Cobb website and downloading the correct maps for your specific ECU type. It should say what ECU you have on your Cobb unit.
