Question Can you be square with a dish?

Hi.
Reviewing and researching the endless list of wheel options to greet spring with an 18" square setup on my E91 328xi. Despite the sweet styling of 19's, I have decided on 18's for ride quality and due to road quality where I am, and square over staggered for consistent performance in my xi and the ability to rotate the rubber. That pretty much locks in my choices...BUT!

BUT! I really like the "dish / lip" look (MRR GT1 is ONE example) on the rear (less on the front), but on what I believe is only possible with a staggered setup?

So to add to my dizzying list of options to digest as I hibernate until April...
QUESTION: Is it possible to setup:
  • Flush to the body
  • Dish / Lip in the Rear, but not so much in the front
  • With a Square setup
  • On a 2008 pre-LCI E91
  • With 18 inches of metal
  • On (so far) stock suspension
?

"square" just means the wheel/tire widths are all the same around the car. you can cheat the "dish" look by getting lower offsets in the rear... but then your rear track width will be way off relative to the front track width, which will throw off the car's handling characteristics. pretty much negating your wanting for "consistent performance"

you can get lip/dish in the rear and not in the front, but you wont be able to rotate your wheels.

Arg. Ok. I was afraid of that, on all counts. I figured I could cheat with the offsets but wasn't sure what that would do to the ride, makes sense it wouldn't be a good thing. And if I can't rotate, that defeats the purpose.

Ok, bummer - but thank you for the input! Back to the drawing board, but at least more informed.
