Abs code 5e20 dealer price

Ok, my e91 is in for the evaporator issue and whilst in I asked them to price for the abs module ,I have a 5e20 code fault using my reader which means internal pressure switch.BMW quoted £320 inc vat for part and fitting…..fair price?

Hydro repair kit for a4 cylinder is around £148+VAT plus your fitting and required brake fluid service(fitting approx. 1.9 hours) so doesn't seem too bad a price.

Actually, that's a decent price, given that it will have a BMW warranty on it, compared to having the pump sent off for repair, which means being without your car for several days. I would, however, push for BMW to comp you the part, given BOTH are manufacturer defects, and the part should, at the very least, be covered for free.

I understand your angle ,but having got the evaporator done for free I didn't mind the abs module cost.Just hope its all ok when I pick it up,no abs lights , dandruff or squeaks from the dash

Not at all. Hope that you got it back in one piece :-) At least you have the ABS / DTC sorted before the impending winter of doom that's been forecast

Just the yellow circle with arrow around and dsc, picked mine up today after 4 days at the dealer and the abs module kit fitted for £302 all in,very happy. But not happy with the way things went ,the reason for 4 days to do the evaporator was because they smashed the windscreen!!!! replaced free of charge. On the way home tonight noticed the 1st stage indicators dont work ? steering sensor perhaps?? also cruise not lighting up and intermittent !! phoning them back tomorrow
