I grew up in Vancouver and I have been on the east coast for 6+ years now.. havent really found a real good place here yet... but i might just been going to the wrong areas..

y awe have couple of 品客多 in NY, but 鹽酥雞 there sucks too lol... I really don't understand why they can't make the same as taiwan..

I am in 高雄 right now and all I can say is that the weather sucks ass big time and the air quality is sooo bad. Haha but I feel like back at home and damn the food is just awesome!!!!! Here is the list that I made up for myself, and of course it WILL be a lot longer than this.....

鹽酥雞 - Done.
臭豆腐 - Done.
滷味 - Done.
鱔魚麵 - Not yet....
羊肉爐 - Not yet....
黑白切 - Done, but will need more. 得到屏東吃....
鵝肉 - Tonight.
泡泡冰 - Done, will need A LOT MORE....
肉粽 - Had some, will need more....
包子 - This morning....
春捲 - 星期天.
章魚燒 - Not yet....

Na man, I flew China Airline and they have the connecting flight to Kaohsiung after I got to Taipei.

I did ride the high speed rail last time I was in Taiwan (about a year ago). All I can say is I love it, it's so fast, comfy and quiet.....
