Just looked on amazon.com. Factory OEM is $37 bucks. The German after-market MANN version is $19. Given that the replacement is "non-skilled labor", not sure who would pay the dealer to do this for them...

My dealer always changes the brake fluid WITH the cabin filter service every two years. Wonder if some of these excessive quotes include fluid exchange as well.

They are identical. The OEM is made by MANN. I ordered one Friday. $19. The dealer was asking for $86. What a joke.

Ordered the Non-OEM by MANN for ~$20 on Amazon replaced in <5 minutes!

Thank-you Hank on the Amazon Review to assist w/ Resetting the Service Light:
To do the install, you only need an 8mm socket and driver to remove the microfilter housing. Once the microfilter housing is off, release the microfilter from the tabs that are holding it in place. Then reverse the process (you may need to use a little force to insert the microfilter back into the housing). To reset your service light, insert your fob key and press the start button (do not depress the brake pedal). Wait for the warning lights to go away and the temp and time to show in the instrument panel, then press and hold the odometer trip reset until the oil can appears. Now, you're in the service menu. On your turn signal stalk, use the up/down toggle to cycle through the different services until the microfilter service indicator comes on. To reset the service interval, press the BC button on your turn signal stalk to get the reset option and then press and hold the BC button until you see a timer icon.
