square tires on staggered wheels

Hi,
I was wondering if you know if square tires on staggered wheels will work with xi? Did anyone tried that?
I have a good deal on 235/35/19 x4 .Tires can take stretch on 8,5 and 9,5 but I am unsure how transfer case will react? So far I was running 275 on rears.

it will work but your rears would be stretched and actually make the tire slightly lower in height vs the front ones.

I know it will stretch a lot rears. I was just afraid for the central diff.

Yes, the key thing in keeping the XI compliant is to have the tires the same or at less than 1% difference. When running a square tire set up, the tires will obviously satisfy this condition. of course you will get more stretch on the rear but the slight stretch you will receive will not thrown the difference off by more than 1%, or at least it shouldn't. Though, 235 on rear will be a hell of a lot thinner than 275, which is what im running now.

I run 225/40/18 blizzaks on my staggered wheels in winter and haven't had any issues. Sure they stretch on the rear but it's worked out just fine for me.

I'm sitting on 205's front and rear on 17's for my winter setup squared. 275 rear with anything lower than 255 front will most likely cause that difference to really climb past the 1% threshold.

In the winter, I run 225s square on my OE 189s, which are staggered by 1/2".
