I ran a DCT M3 in my 1er FBO without meth around 14.5 psi, and we were pulling roughly dead even. The great equalizer is that amazing DCT tranny vs my 6MT. I need more whp to make up for the insane shift speeds of a DCT tranny. DCT shifts in 0.08 seconds if I'm not mistaken, a "fast" 6MT shift WOT to WOT is somewhere around .25 seconds.

Yeah that Lexus is no joke. I know for a fact that their faster than the m3 in a straight line. Stock vs stock

If I am running maxed out (19psi on meth+race) then I should have no issues walking both a DCT M3 and IS-F, but we are talking about an average joe, not someone fully maxed out like me

I would run the gas almost empty and put in five gallons of race gas. Pick tune of choice and do 4 or 5 full pulls to let the system adapt to the new timing and boost.
How are you at launching or is this from a dig? |

You guys must be high to think the ISF is all that glorious. I was able to keep up (actually ahead of the ISF) until about 100mph and I only had GIAC stage 1, intercooler, intake, and 100 oct. I had a bad shift into fourth and that is the main reason why he pulled. Don't get shit just to race this guy though... because you will need to drop a lot of money to get the win.

I don't know where you get those numbers, but you don't want to do those modifications without an intercooler. And meth is not $250, lol.

I thought an IS-F was about a 4.5 0-60mph car on a good day? Wouldn't take that much to run with it.
Like a few other said, tune, dual cone...that will get you close...and with meth, you win.

they run around a 12.8 stock. I would think a tune, race gas or meth, IC, DPs and you should be pretty good. I'm not an expert on straight line racing though
