Getting a wire thru the firewall

I am installing fog lights on my 335is because it doesn't have any. They are small round Piaa's that will fit neatly up in the brake duct vent. So I need to get 1 wire thru the firewall to turn them on and off.
There looks to be some rubber grommets on the firewall below the brake lines.
Is this my way to go thru? It looks very tight of an area to work wit.

Look at a boost gauge install.
There is a rubber grommet in the drivers footwell that goes into the engine bay

Are you using an OEM switch? If so, the wiring might already be there.

I took the wheel well out, no fog light wire was there. I search boost gauge installs, but couldn't find where they go thru the fire wall. BMS mentioned using the steering wheel pass thru, but no DIY guide found.
Anyone else?

As mentioned previously, there is a large grommet under DS dash on firewall, around the brake pedal mechanism.

There are multiple 'nubs' on this grommet - some are being used and have cables & such going thru them already.

There are others that are 'blank' - just poke a hole thru one of the blank nubs and pass your wiring thru...

Take a look at the Laser Interceptor DIY Install. Should have pictures.

My work computer blocks the pictures, but it should be in step 8.
