How to remove lower centre grille?
I have a 2011 E92 328i without m-sport. I am trying to remove the center grille but I can't seem to figure it out. I have tried pushing the grille in and pulling it out with quite a bit of force but it doesn't budge (I stopped because it felt like it was going to break). I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this.
Thanks. |

I believe you just push it in. even if you get it unclipped though I think to get it out of there you have to unbolt the splash sheild below. Plus I think there are a few vertical bars about an inch or so behind it so make sure they are getting in your way.

Thanks for the quick replies.
Jskin, I was trying to push it in, but it doesn't even unclip. And is the splash shield the bottom part of the bumper? I think I will try to remove the bumper if it is not too hard. Do I just have to remove the screws on the bottom of the car and the four bolts under the hood? (I also have headlight washers and parking sensors.) |
