2 year old car with 42k miles, I don't know, the warranty expired, unless that it has and extended warranty.

Actually, it should have 8,000 miles left on the warranty (4 years or 50,000 miles.) KBB puts it at "suggested retail" of $36,500.

The 2007 550i had a base MSRP of $58,500. The way it is optioned, figure it had an original sticker in the mid $60's. So wow, it has depreciated very, VERY fast.

Sounds like a great deal, if nothing is wrong with it. Pretty high miles though. Even if you figure it went into service right after the 2007's were released (September 2006), it has averaged 2,800 miles per month, or 33,600 miles per year on average. That is a TON of driving.

Check it out. If nothing is wrong with it, you may get a steal of a deal.

Be careful though. Also, MAKE SURE TO GET THE UNDERCARRIAGE SPOTTED FOR RUST!

Yeah, looks like a solid car at a glance. With those kind of miles, you can pretty safely bet that it is mostly highway miles. Definitely do a pre-purchase inspection though, since you're nearing the end of warranty and it has a lot of miles on it.
