Does your Mrs cook your tea?
Or if you are posh, does your Mrs cook your Dinner?
And if she does, to what standard? Just wondering, I reckon my wife is failing in her (admittedly northern) obligations. Once a week at best at the moment. |

She usually cooks and biased as I am, she's bloody brilliant at it.
I cook occasionally and used to be a chef in a decentish pub (not exactly top notch food but better than nothing). However I need to spend loads on ingredients - Mrs Matt seems to be able to magic up amazing food out of almost nothing. |

I have a constant battle with my lot (all Northerners - I am a Southerner). They call lunch, dinner and dinner, tea. I have tried beating them repeatedly but it seems that just do not understand the subtleties. Oh, and my Mrs can't cook, she struggles with stuff that comes almost ready made from the fridge/freezer, she slops dinner (tea!) on the plate and doesn't understand presentation. After 20 years of marriage (last week was the anniversary) I am used to it. But I do love her dearly (but clearly not for her ability to tickle my taste buds!).

The miswah gets a 9.5 out of 10 at my house.
Although we are on first name terms with the guys n gals at the local chinese... so the frequency of 'lazy' days needs some attention.

Sounds to me as you're failing in in your duties as the MAN of the house. All she needs is a good hiding and shell soon buckle down. It worked a treat on Lisa.

You're right, when I was being 'educated' at the military college I went to, in my youth, tea was just that, tea and toast/cakes at about 4PM, dinner was then at about 7PM. I am just not posh enough to call dinner supper, it always sounds a little ostentatious to me.
