Cali Emissions With Eisenmann Sr Pipes

I am in Spain at the moment and enjoying the long stretches of the autopista. It is fun cruising at average speeds of 110-120 which I will not be able to do once I'm back in the states. I am considering to add the SR pipes while here and concerned about passing the emissions test in California once I'm back. Are there any Californians out there that passed the California emissions with the Eisenmann racing exhaust and SR pipes? or would the Simota Intake be a better mod with my racing exhaust? Thanks.

well the intake makes a significant noise diffrence. I mean i have the Britalmin exhaust with my ikon and its increadibly loud. I am waiting to hear froma local shop to see whether the SR pipes can fit the ikon so ill tell you what i hear. If i had the choice from what i hear the SR pipes have a more noticble all around diffrence

Have you heard if those people that did the upgrade to the SR pipes pass emission?

This was talked about once before. The exhaust is only from the cat back, so therefore the amount of emissions coming out of the exhaust does not change at all. It is simply the sound and amount of flow that changes. There should be no problem what so ever with the emissions

I know that this has been discussed before. However, I want to get opinions of those from California that have gone through the emissions test and have passed. I don't want to screw this up. Thanks for the feedback.

Things like this make me love living in a state with no emissions tests.

Though, those tests would be great to force those oil-burning beaters that crop-dust the expressway in a cloud of white smoke off the road for good.

Again, we cannot claim in any way that using our product will not affect any smog inspection (for legal reasons) However, a rule-of-thumb is that as long as you don’t modify the catalytic converters or any sensors in the exhaust system, the emissions levels will remain the same. Eisenmann exhaust systems do not affect the catalytic converters or any sensors.
