What's the best product to use on a convertible top?

Been using on my E46 cabrio for a year, they work great! For the cleaner, I wet the top, spray the product, scrub with a nylon brush, then blast away with the pressure washer. Also, after dry, using a masking tape lint roller to pick up any specks of dirt leftover works well.

My recommendation depends on the type (fabric/canvas or vinyl) of top you have but here are my suggestions from 303 and Raggtopp as mentioned above.

Here is what I recommend for Fabric Tops

Clean With:
303 Convertible Top Cleaner
OR
Raggtopp Convertible Top Cleaner - Fabric and Vinyl Tops

Protect With:
303 High Tech Fabric Guard
OR
Raggtopp Fabric Protectant

Here is what I recommend for Vinyl Tops

Clean With:
303 Convertible Top Cleaner
OR
Raggtopp Convertible Top Cleaner - Fabric and Vinyl Tops

Protect With:
303 Aerospace Protectant
OR
Raggtopp Vinyl Protectant

I actually met the owner of Raggtopp in the parking lot of a Publix here in Atlanta a few weeks back. He approached me and started talking about my top. He said that the best way to use the cleaner was to really dilute it and add a small amount of borax to "supercharge" it. He said that the straight solution was too powerful for a newer top. He aslo said that the top sealant works best in direct sunlight and to lightly "dust" it about 5 times for full protection.
