Tracking car from order

I realize there is a separate forum for this but most info I found was for tracking US cars.

Is there a way for us Canadians to track our cars if we are provided the production number?

Not really. Your SA can tell you where it is in production and sometimes which ship its on. You can then try to follow the progress with our US cousins on the same ship (depending on the line, you can sometimes track its progress over the Atlantic). Once it hits Halifax, its another black hole for about a week or so and then, ta da, the car is delivered to the dealership.

You can call the main 1-800# for BMW Canada and they can provide you with updates if you have a production number.

You have a VIN Number?
You can track while its on the boat and while in Canada.
You cannot track while still in Germany
