Great write up Paul, and the car does you a great deal of credit

For what is a relatively small sum of 13k in the scheme of things, that will make a terrific wk/end hoon drive + a great track car.

Looking forward to the maiden track vid once it's fully sorted

It's looking good these days. Looks a lot fresher and modern.

A couple of guys at work have gone out and bought 911s in the last couple of months.

They do look good in the car park but that is quite a few here now.

Will need to keep up soon.

Currently my 4 year old wants me to get something with an electric roof and he keeps mentioning Mercs. His grand dad has an old SL and Harry loves going out in it with the roof down. You think they're not listening but they are!

Paul, great write up and you have an absolute bargain there. The 996 looks the business and such a bargain. £13K for a stunning 911 is outstanding value, funnily enough it is near enough the cost of running my 997 C4S Cab for 6 months, except I don't have the car on the drive. Enough said

Sorry, but that car is absolute sacrilege. Hideous non standard wheels and a spoiler that looks like it just came off a barry boy Corsa. Not how a Porsche is meant to be.

Not keen on how it looks, standard turbos look nice enough. I didnt realise turbos were that cheap now. (Last time I looked there were north of 30k) You would want the X50 really also.

Great car, had a friend with one, and also driven a 550HP one to 150mph at Bruntingthorpe. The same car took me to an indicated 188mph, the fastest I had ever travelled in a car. (With a bird driving in 6 inch heels.)
