FS: "OEM" Cargo Net for E92

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hi guys,

I'm selling this cargo net solution I had installed on my E92 since I'm getting my X5 this weekend. I used it only like 3 times. The title of this thread says OEM in quotes because this kit is OEM.... from Lexus, based on a DIY thread here on e90post.

Buyer will receive:
2x Lexus OEM Cargo Hooks (Lexus @ ~$24.50 + tax / pc)
2x Lexus OEM Self-tapping screws with washers (Lexus @ ~$2.50 + tax / pc)
1x Lexus OEM Cargo Net for IS250/IS350 (Lexus @ $39.99 + tax)
2x Hooks (Walmart @ 1.50 + tax / pc)

The parts cost me basically $100 when I bought them new. I'm asking for $69 shipped.

Why this is better than the original BMW version and a good choice:
- Actually holds cargo, instead of just pushing stuff against the floor
- Fits all E92s. Newer model E9Xs may not be compatible even with the OEM BMW cargo net setup as they removed some hooks from the liners (BMW = cheap)
- NO DRILLING REQUIRED + NO DAMAGE TO YOUR LINER. Your liner already has holes for those hooks for some reason. Can be completely removed and look exactly the same.
- Easy to remove and stow away
- Reliable Lexus quality OEM parts. Yeah. I know.
- Only tool required for installation is a philips head screwdriver. Afterwards, cargo net can just be hooked and unhooked.
- Looks OEM

NOTES:
- Only guaranteed for E92. E90, E91, and E93 buyers will need to look in their cars to confirm fit. Non-E92 buyers buy at their own risk.
- Lexus tag can be easily removed from cargo net so your friends and family won't think you're having an identity crisis.

Correct, but you gotta admit it's pretty stupid for a cargo net to take the entire space of the trunk and being flat. Also, like I mentioned, the newer MY BMWs do not have the hook required to even use the OEM cargo nets, so a new trunk liner or two might be required.

Ha, Did you get this idea from me? LOL Glad you were able to find the parts for this.

I love this mod I did and it really does work, it's great when you go to the store and need to hold bottles like milk and soda from tipping over.

See my original thread here:

This is an excellent price for this, I would grad this for sure.
