Looks like you had a great night of fun - wish I could've been there! Saw quite a few familiar faces on the shots from Viv. Looking forward to seeing most if not all of you next year in Germany or London!

Tone, many thanks for arranging and hosting this. It was an truely amazing evening and great to see everyone again! The company and food was superb and a big thumbs up to yourself and your staff for the excellent service.

For anyone staying over and not coming back for brunch - you have no idea what you missed! That's got to be the best brunch I ever had. I might just have to go for a sunday drive every now and then.

Thanks all for the comments Was great having you all here, even the very drunken ones(!), and hope each and everyone of you enjoyed the dinner.

Will do another one in a few months time no doubt - maybe a Sunday brunch or something...

And thanks to those who have helped me out and posted reviews on the restaurant. Much appreciated as it helps boost my rankings a lot!

For those who haven't already, if you do have the time and the inclination, I'd be most grateful for some reviews on the following websites...

Thanks in advance!

To be fair though, he has eaten at mine a few times now, so one lengthy review isn't too much to ask!

Thumbs up

Thank you very much Tony and the team :thump:

It was worth while jumping off the plane at 6pm and heading straight to yours. Enjoyed meeting everyone and enjoyed some great conversations (you know who you are).

Will, sorry I didn't realise at the time you were photographing, I was a little startled

Tony - a belated thank you for a great evening....utterly brilliant food and great service

Good to see nearly all of you again, even if it was right at the end of the evening for some of you!

Anneka - great to put a face to the name and thank you for the input into our Mini paint defect - already Sytner Leicester have been on the phone asking Vicki to go back to them....finally for them to hopefully their job properly! Why does it always take you to get them to do what they're supposed to do? Whatever the reason...thank you!

Careful!! A comment like that usually gets a thread closed, may not for this
thread though because of the thread subject.

?????????

The most recent thread was the one where the guy was buying a 5GT, got terrible service, Anneka stepped in, all sorted, few people on thread seen it all before and reckon the approach of Sytner would be better to work on the issues not arising in the first place rather than papering over the cracks when they appear. Negative comments about Sytner = Thread locked.
Has happened on other occasions in the past which is why I made my comment above. However, locking this thread is highly unlikely because of the subject it originally was formed for.

Gents,

This is hardly the place for such debate. What will likely happen here is that any offending posts will be removed but the thread will be left.

This thread SHOULD stay - but not because it is in any way affiliated with a mod (if that is what you're implying) but because it is about an event which over 30 members attended including pics etc and that should not be spoilt because one or two people decide to bring up something completely unrelated.

I think Andrew's comment is fair and will probably stand - Anneka would probably agree as she had a conversation with him about it with said people sitting around watching/listening. It's the pointless follow up which is likely to be deleted if at all.

Regards
Matt

Agree Matt, my comments were a little tongue in cheek on this occasion regarding what seems a rather ridiculous situation in the whole.
