I was parked at Clairemont Town Square tonight while my gf and I went to a movie, only to come out to my car having footprints all over the top of it and a giant foot print dent on my hood. Damn disrespectful kids. Security wasnt helpful either. Thats the last time I go to that theater. Anyone have any recommendations to get my hood fixed? I filed a claim with my insurance, but my deductible is 1k so if I can get it fixed for cheaper then that will probably make more sense.

That's a pretty intense deductible. For that price, I'd get a legit VRS hood -- if you can find one

Definitely do NOT go through insurance if the hood is the only thing damaged.

Checked out my car in better lighting and it looks like there is a dent on the roof of my car in addition to the two footprint dents on the hood. I'm going to have to get it checked out at a shop because I remember when I bought the car and one of the guys said its $20k to replace the retractile hardtop if anything is wrong with it because they dont replace pieces of it. I am guessing I need to get everything fixed since its a lease and at the end of the lease the car has to be in good condition with no dents.
Seriously this is why I leave my car in a locked underground garage 100% of the time. The one time I decide to venture out to go to a movie, I get this bs.

Any recommendations on quality shops? My car was rear ended 4 months ago and I got the car repaired through the dealership. I'll never do that again because they are SO SLOW.

I live downtown in Little Italy, but I am willing to take my car anywhere. I was hoping just the hood was damaged and I could just replace it with a carbon fiber hood or something since they are less than $1k.

Any suggestions would be appreciated from you guys.

I think I am going to go to Philip Thearle's Autowerks tomorrow to get a quote. They seem to have great reviews on BMWs and I just want my car back to looking good. I feel like I am driving a clunker with these dents.
