Quick winter tire question

i'm planning on getting blizzark WS-80's for my 18" rims.

is it fine if I put 225/40 R18 on front and back or is it better to put 225/35 R18 on front?

driving 335i coupe sport package

thank you.

The 225/40/18 is the correct size.

+1

225/35R18 would be too short.

That's the factory setup for 18x8 and 18x8.5 wheels. Can be used wider wheels also. You could also use 225/40/18 allround. You wont notice the slight difference caused by wider rear wheel.

I got the WS80's from tirerack for my 18 inch wheels and just went with the size they recommended. Put em on today, drove on em in snow today, and I couldn't be happier with how they handled
