I'll pay a decent price for this. Makes the install wayyyy easier. I'll pay for whatever makes my life easier, That's why I work my ass off.

You have the option to keep V2 as is, you dont have to buy anything.

I have to run to a dinner but I just got home and the first thing I noticed was that the tune feels very healthy, like it was meant to be. Makes stock feel like a mistake, and makes V2 feel like it was trying too hard. This tune just feels very at home and homeostatic, I love it.

On a fun note, I was able to hold a drift with V3 much more controlled than stock or V2 in a part of my commute where I have kicked the rear end out in a spirited manner many a time.

Cheers and more to come tonight.

I, for one, would pay the extra money just to have a "true" PNP harness.

Agreed, I kinda feel like I'd be paying for something I should have already had.

Sweet baby Jesus. This is a beautiful thing. I was just about sold on the Helix, but the plug n' play wins it for me if the initial flood of people end up running problem free and reliably with this thing.

Shiv, looking forward to reading more updates on this guy...i.e. new power curves/deltas/peaks, the "flash-like" features, etc. Also, I'm looking forward to hearing about available features with this unit. REALLY love to see user placeable toggle switch availability (i.e. Helix) to flip to stock map or other map on a whim.

Candy on top would be some of features discussed long ago, such as launch control or temporary overboost, possibly available for optional d/load and install via the laptop, like plugins

Ah, I remember hollering MANY months ago "Why don't one of you tuners make a clip-in harness unit like Cobb Tuning and others did for the WRX ...now it is done!

Nice work with the plug-n-play harness... this should be the new standard for piggyback harnesses.

I don't think the "minimal" cost upgrade will be to PNP, it will just get us to V3. This is fine as long as the cost is truly minimal (like cost to manuf. +5-10%). Us early adopters from V1-V2, should get thrown a bone on the upgrade to V3, especially if it isn't going to be PNP.

JMO,

M

As time goes on there are new features that require different harnesses etc... As the product gets better, upgrades are needed... and paying for them makes sense to me. Buying V2, in my opinion, doesn't = "being an early adopter". You just bought the product that you liked... and now something newer and better is coming. The price for upgrades is completely justifiable

Well I'm not too proud to say I made a mistake. I was wrong and obviously Vishnu was hard at work. I have to admit that the plug and play design is genius and I wonder if one can order the whole shebang with the mods on their car or if they will have to change things themselves. Good job guys. Is the power up!?
had to ask. This would be ideal for taking in and out of service.

I bought the PROcede prior to v1.47, upped the firmware to 1.47 when it came out and had to upgrade my wiring to V2 for $150.... I did not buy the PROcede as a V2. I certainly plan to upgrade again if it makes sense for what I am running on my car (I don't have a modified exhaust..yet) and will gladly pay, lets just keep it fair for the long time supporters of the product.
