were they not bright enough thats why you got HID's?

They are pretty bright, about the same as the LED's in the informational section of the website, but I wanted to try out HID's and they are much brighter than LED's, but HID's also have uneven light light output while LED's are more consistent in their output, so I guess for me I could live with my choice.

Comes down to preferences really...

I dont know, but I( didnt see any codes for the few hours I had them on.....if that is the case, a set of resistors would easily fix that, but I think that is why they have that box built into it.
