Has someone posted the odds for the fastest lap around Mt Panorama??

I bet $10 on MPower.

Cheers.

ok, if you guys are gonna go racing, i am officially not the organiser of this cruise, just thought i would ad that

all jokes aside though, it's not a race, it's just a fun day out for all of us to socialise and meet each other, and see the cars, and go for a drive be sensible

the list for the bathurst run is as follows...

1. Astra + 1
2. BMW //MPOWER
3. CaptOz
4. Chris.G
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

if anyone else is up for a bathurst run, PLEASE put your name down!!

and guys who are on the list, if you are bringing othr people. please list that as well

Astra you're getting better odds than me and MPower at the moment. Centrebet has you down as 2:1 odds on favourite to win.

Ok Ok… we can make it a “cruise”. It’s a shame, I had $1000 on you to win that I was going to split 50:50 with MPower.

Cheers.

Seriously - do you want to make it Sunday or another weekend? I am sure no one will mind.

Cheers.

P.S. Sorry for not multi-quoting.

i don't mind this meet/cruise but i must admit that the Hunter Valley cruise was a better option. We at least had two more people in it (Gucci and Daninsyd). Now we have a news update that Astra wants to back out of this meet. You know its sad that we have members but we cannot even have one properly organised meet/cruise. I myself tried but no one was willing to go, i really think people here are not BMW enthusiests sometimes apart from Mpower and I.

It's probably because your going about it like you all know each other (in the real world) and assume everyone's reliable, gets along and knows each other etc.

If I was organising it I'd have a meet and greet somewhere like Maisy's at Neutral Bay or down at City Extra or at Capt Oz's carwash for coffee or something. Gives everyone to have a chat for an hour or two and then organise the cruise for a week, two, three weeks time etc. Might be something to consider

as I mentioned in other thread before...people who can afford a brand new BMW in Sydney...they don't do meet/cruise

Thats why I bought a VW
Vortex/GolfMKv have night run/cruise/track day every few weeks
I had a great run with them at Wiseman Ferry last week. 24 cars! :rocks:

I certainly am a BMW enthusiast and I am sure astra is too (perhaps more than all of us). It’s simply a case of finding a time that suits us all, though not necessarily an easy task. Heck, I work pretty much 7 days a week.

If you guys want to meet at the carwash, I’ll shout some free coffees. We could even do a number of meets until we all get to know each other.

Cheers.

pfft, i am not even going to comment on that "enthusiast" remark... ludacris

actually, going to the carwash sounds great, because i started polishing my car today, and i realised just how dirty the paint is, and that is in desperate need of a GOOD polish and wax...

how much would that set me back CaptOz?

I agree. To questions astra’s “BMW enthusiasm" is unfair.

FINE THE EXECUTIVE DECISION IS THIS THEN!
MEET SAT JUNE 2, 9AM @ CAPTIN OZ'S CARWASH
THAT IS THE STAR WASH
4 VICTORIA AVE, CASTLE HILL
I expect the capt'n will set aside room for our cars and do an very good group discount, then afterwards if people are keen maybe we could do a procession somewhere, but will leave that until the day. Just as qwerty12345 said, keep it simple. At least that way we could get some sweet pics of some beautifully clean bimmers!
