LCI Halos..I like them!!
I love the look of the new halos on the lci models...I thought I was buying similar ones from SSDD but mine are no way as bright and cool to look at as these...
Anyone know how you can get the lci look??? I'm told that the light cluster is totally different to mine so it's not a case of switching bulbs

At first I thought they were separate components as found in e46's..I fitted halos to my m3 but with the added feature of tin foil...The reflection made them much brighter.
Then I find out they were bulbs on the e92!! The hideous yellows look brighter than their replacements I purchased. Are the 2010 lci's definitely not able to be swapped over??? Carlos...you hater

Could you recommend a retailer? Ive searched around and no one seems to stock these or they thought they were very unreliable.

Just to be clear, my car has halos, but recently I've seen a different, whiter look halo on xenon cars - that's what I meant by an upgrade... so I was wondering if the halogen halos were also being upgraded, because mine are very dim and are hardly worth turning on!
I guess I was half hoping that BMW might have started using a new bulb in halogen cars that could easily be swapped into mine... I've seen guides on retro fit LED bulbs but there always seems to be some fabrication to get them to fit, plus the issue with error codes. Raff555, were your h8 led plug and play?

Just thought I'd bump this.
Are the new BMW bright white Halos LED? If so, could a BMW dealer change my yellow ones over to LED? Even if they aren't LED, are the bulbs compatible with my Halogen LCI headlights? I'm still in warranty and it would be nice to keep that for the lights because I know they replace blown bulbs FOC for the first 3 years. If I change the halo bulbs myself I expect they will claim the warranty is void!

Yeah they are LED but nobody seems to know if the bulbs can be bought seperate from the new headlamps, if they can I imagine some sort of modding - drilling - cutting etc would be required .
I did mine using LED from SSD and I am happy with results |

replacing your yellow bulbs with white light is possible but it wont match the brightness of 2010 E92 models as they have a different setup, 2 led bulbs instead of 1 each side, you'd need new headlights which currently dont exist for the E90 only the e92/3 /new 5 series etc have the new bright style for 2010 - (BMW prob waiting for new 3 series saloon?)
but these will change your yellow look to white http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-3-Series-O...ht_2723wt_1139 heres the fitting guide http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ghts+plug+play heres what they look like on my E90

Useful post Andy, thanks.
So, Mstyle in Essex may be my best option to get the look of your car (thanks for that previous recommendation).
