Replacing front brake sensor??

Brought it to the stealers and they said my front brake sensor wire was cut....they usually cover it under warranty cause I had aftermarket brake pad and they said who ever that installed probably damaged the wire. Tried to search for a diy but couldn't located one. Does one exist? Is it hard to change?? What much do those front sensors go for anyways?

$25 bucks. And it is very easy to replace. Remove the left front wheel/tire for access.

Tischer sells it for about $20. Like BCube said, left front wheel. Remove the wheel, remove the caliper. Remove the pad, unclip the sensor, install the new sensor and reassemble. The sensor wire comes through the pad view access opening in the caliper, goes through the loop in the bleeder screw cap, then wraps around the strut (clips on the strut in a rubber gromet) then heads up to a little black box on the fenderwell where the ABS sensor and brake pad sensors connectors are. The black box has a hinged door you need to open up to get to the connectors. Not hard.

Don't know what OP drives, but 335i front caliper doesn't need to come off. Plenty of room to pull sensor and install new one through pad window. Just did mine a couple of days ago.

Should just pull your front left wheel off and replace the sensor and make sure it gets connected to the connection point
