I'm having a little problem with my 07 BMW 328i (e90/N51). Two weeks ago i started my car and noticed a rough vibrate on idle + the service engine soon light came on... I took the car to my mechanic and the ODB reader showed a misfire in cylinder #6... He switched the coil from cylinder #6 to cylinder #2 and the ODB showed misfire in cylinder #2... So the problem was the coil... He changed the coil and there were no problems with the car anymore
One week later the same symptoms... ODB showed misfire in cylinder #4 and #6... Problems with the coils again... Bought new coils, replaced all spark plugs... CAR IS RUNNING GOOD... Erased the codes ... Checked for new codes and it's still bringing up a misfire in cylinder #4... If I put a bad coil in cylinder #4 the car is vibrating on idle ... When I put the good coil everything is just fine but it's still bringing a misfire in that cylinder in ODB...It doesn't make any sense to me
What kind of problem it might be?...Can somebody help me with a plausible answer???
