Cancel orders in Production?
Is it possible for a dealership to cancel an order in Germany after its status has changed to Production in the system?

That's why you always put a "depost refund subject to test drive" clause in your contract. That way you always have an out and you get your deposit back. You and the dealer both sign off on it.

Right. I special ordered an E91, which is a rare car out here and hard for dealers to sell. It is especially hard given that I wanted it loaded with some features that are relatively unpopular (Idrive). Still, even though I had put the dealer in a position of having a car on his lot he good not otherwise sell, my deposit was fully refundable. I got have gotten the $ back until the day I signed the papers.
