It will be interesting to see what affect it will have on the engine cooling especially if you have the scoops installed for the intake as well.

The core is a 76mm deep high efficiency tube and fin design, airflow through the core and subsequently the radiator will not be a problem.

Well actually if you calculate the core volume it will not be the biggest ever installed (sorry martymil got a little carried away, lol), but thankfully the efficiency of the intercooler is not simply governed by the volume of the core. If that were the case the big arse super thick bar and plate "brick" intercoolers we are forced to use due to fitment limitations would perform in a similar manner to this style of cooler, which I know for a fact they do not as this particular tube and fin core has already proven itself on other high horsepower platforms.

So it looks like your car will need to have at least the m-sport bumper or aftermarket bumper to cover this FMIC up...
Looks like if you are running the stock plain E90 bumper (same one found on the more poverty spec models) the bottom of the FMIC will hang out... |

Id be interested to know the price for this setup and the actual dimensions
Would the usual charge pipes be able to be used with this, or will new ones have to be fabricated to suit? |
