DIY Oil Change Cost
Aloha Hawaii E90post,
Going to do a oil change for my E90 N52 engine and wanted to know for all you DIYers where would be the cheapest place to purchase 7 quarts of OEM 5w-30 oil and the OEM Oil filter? While searching online it seems most sites charge a arm and a leg for shipping (7 quarts and a single oil filter $50 or so for shipping cost). Just wanted to know if there is a site or shop that I can purchase those items without breaking the bank. Thank you! |

Been using Mobil 1 0w 40 for a while . . . I doubt you'll find any of the OEM stuff on the cheap. Filters on Amazon.

Not sure if they have your weight, but I buy my 10W-30 Mobil 1 from Costco for my N54. Forget how much I paid, but definitely cheaper than the dealership and way more convenient since I'm always shopping there.
