How easy/hard is it to DIY install these on a 323? Do they mount right into the fog light holes on the front bumper? Is the system pre-wired? And I'm assuming I will also need to install the proper OEM switch to turn them on/off?? Anybody done this before?

Any help would be great!

many ways you can deal with it.

you know how the 323i has that black plastic cover instead of the fog lamps.
just remove the covers and put the lights in.
no need to remove the bumper
for wiring, I had my friend wired for me so when the engine is on, fog turn on.
if you want to get fancy, buy the fog switch and it will be a lot of work and cost.

good luck

Stay posted.

Hey, I am going to be doing the exact same mods as you Alan in mid february as well. Just waiting on my Xenons to arrive from the faderland I am also ordering the Parachute harness in the next couple of days aswell as most likely the Predator ICE Angel Eyes (Lux is a little out of my budget). I already have my fogs from my last attempt, I actually think I paid more than $75 now that I think about it...

hey Desi,
nice to see you finally get yourself a set of xenon.
you sold me your euro, now you are buying euro again??
yes, the Parachute is wonderful, perfect, no errors.
sounds like after all these shit is done, the price is around $1500.
is Predator any better than PIAA? someone is selling Piaa here for $130
grab it quick ha ha

To me, the predator design looks flawed. Theirs no heatsink on the actual diode thus not cooling the diodes. UNLESS the cover is black aluminum.

Alan, I think I mentioned at one point during our transaction that I had a really short attention span? I gave up on the xenons pretty quickly and sold them in order to buy my wheels instead. I actually tried to emulate the parachute kit but now realize what I was doing wrong, so I'm just going to order it directly from the man himself. Plus, this way all the connections are solid. The few that I do have to make I will solder for good measure.

PIAAs are gone, plus with the concerns raised about JLevis credibility I think I will hold off for a bit. Perhaps wait a bit and go with the LUX rings in a little while, although $250 is a little more than I had wanted to spend on them.
