it is supposed to arrive by the end of feb .. so basically about 2 months in total.

would luv to hear the time u had to bear this dreadful wait !!

btw .. im buying from Budd's BMW Oakvile .. anyone bought from there .. any good & bad ? .. my salesman insisted that tax on discount is also discount ? .. okay sorry i dont really know better way to say that ..

I signed the contract at the end of November due to the special rate offered by BMW Canada. The car supposed to be arrived at the end of February and the car is arriving at the car depot in Concord last week. So, I assume the car will be sitting in the dealership parking lot this week.

In other word, the car is arriving 1 month early. I will not pickup the car until mid-February because I insist the salesman that I want my car around end of February.

The longest I waited was for my E39. Ordered in mid April and delivered on July 31st. What a painful wait.

If you are lucky and can modify an order already in the production cue (an unsold vehicle ordered for your dealer's inventory), you can save some time, perhaps as much as 6 weeks.

Hey Mazinger...!
Your car should be here this week cuz mine will be in this thursday or early next week.

It's funny cuz I'm in the same situation as you too. I wanted my car at the end of Feb but since it arrived early I told my CA that I will pick it up in middle of Feb

btw where did you purchase your car?

You guys should rethink delaying taking delivery. That means the cars will be sitting at the dealer for a few weeks. I don't think I would want that.

I bought it from BMW Autohaus from a very nice Korean sales lady. She told me the shipment is 1 month earlier than scheduled

haha! I know who u r talking about!
We went to the same university.

I didn't purchase from her cuz when I went to
Help my mom purchase her car, she would only
let us go on a 5 Min test drive for both x5 and
The 5 series. WTF???

I try to avoid Korean CA's since they tend
to not give as much discount to fellow
Koreans.

Anyway r u going to let the
car sit on the lot for 2-3 weeks?
I told my CA that my car has to be
indoor and he agreed since they have underground
garage.

Yes, I think the car would probably sitting outside. I was thinking asking "her" to put the car indoor but the problem is the other sales people may let the other people go inside and check out the car.

If anything wrong with the car such as scratches when I pick up the car, I can refuse to accept the delivery.

Nice~~~
I was going to go in this friday to make sure there's nothing wrong with the car and was thinking of telling my CA to disconnect the battery till I pick it up in 3 weeks.

to other posters... would that be bad for a brand new car?
is it better to leave the battery on or disconnect it?

Man I can't Wait~~~~~~~~~~~~

The battery should be fine for three weeks. I say leave it on.

My factory order took two months. It was a long wait, but well worth it once it arrived.
