I am "resurrecting" this thread again, do we have an official HPFP failure in Canada?

My car has only 800km but feels sluggish. No problems with cranking (yet!?). Getting it checked out later this week.

Will update when I know more.

Some new/future owners could use an update. Also if you had a fuel pump failure what kind of gasoline were you using? I am asking because there is a thread in the General section that mentions a German SA raising the possibility that US fuel pump failure could be due to different fuel additive. This could be interrested to see a possible correlation between ethanol of other additive content and fuel pump failure.

Thanks for your cooperation.

I bought my 335 with 4000 miles on it and the fuel pump was replaced right before I bought it. Will that mean that I would have problems in the future with it ?

1800 kms and not problems. Even starting at -32 didn't require additional cranks.
