Offset question

I have a 2009 328xi
Stock suspension and everything

Can I put on rims that are:
Front - 8.5 et30: 225/40/18
Rear - 9.5 et25: 255/35/18

Any problems that would arise?

I think the rear is too aggressive. It's pushing it!

10mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 28mm

lol at stock height you will have no problem putting these on, you could even increase the tire width in the rear to 265 or 275.

It will be too agressive in rear ! I personnaly am in the process of buying new wheels and in the rear I am going with 255/35/18 on 18x9.5 ET33 wich is probably the furthest I want to go extending 17mm outside.

Also Don't want to hijack the thread but would you guyz in front on 225/40/18 with 18x8.5 would you go either ET35 or ET40. My seller recommend ET40 only on our cars but looking at some calculation I think 5mm outside more and 7mm less inside is better than outside beeing the same and having 12mm less on the strut side.

So basically :
Front : 225/40/18 on 18x8.5 on ET35 or ET40 ???
Rear : 255/35/18 on 18x9.5 on ET33

I'm on 335xi stock suspension e92

Not sure if it will help but my e90 ran 19x8.5 +30 on stock height with no problems 235/35. Now Im running the same setup @+20 lowered and they still dont rub. No fender mods on the front at all. Rears were 19x10 +37 265/30 no rub stock height or lowered. @+17 now with a roll.
