MMP flows better than VTT according to the test. The VTT front turbo inlet is the bottleneck flowing the worst.

VTT inlets are meant for stage 2+ turbos, so the test is a bit unfair for MMP. VTT inlets can be clamped down, but since the flow was measured from the hoses only, clamping down the VTT's bigger turbo end to fit snug to the smaller than 2+ turbos, means that the true flow of VTT when applied will be even less. In addition, the rear inlet will be crunched in a restriction point when installed, which means further flow restrictions and turbulence.

As the independent tester points out: "the larger outlet of the VTT hoses relative to the other pipes is likely a significant benefit to the airflow capacity". Applied to other than VTT 2+ this significant benefit will vanish with clamping this diameter down and VTT will flow even less.

Furthermore, some have been complaining about the high pitched noise after installing VTT inlets. I believe some of the silicon hoses have a specific friction and resonance which does not go too well along with a BOV.

When you don't make a single sample or even attempt to fit an inlet thru the factory routing yourself (not even your competitions product) before starting a group buy solely on the assumption it will work based on somebody else's product whom youn boast of sharing the same supplier what would you like to call it? If he had actually done any homework he would have figured out VTT inlet dimensions allegedly don't fit (which I don't believe... How would he know when he doesn't have one and the 80 people who own them have never complained about inadequate space to fit the rear tube).

I guess you can't see the difference between that and this:

decide your going to make inlets, measure and send some basic measurements to a supplier and have samples made for test fitting until your satisfied with the fitment then decide to go into production. Notify John public. Selll product to undercut competition if your so inclined. Did he do that, no. He undercut the competition without having a product to sell and before even ATTEMPTING to design an inlet.

The production inlets fit beautifully. The pic shown is of the prototype kit but the production kit arrived about an hour later and we got them on the car. It took about 5 hours to install while the car was on the lift, definitely a knuckle bruiser but worth the effort!

Can we see some pics from the passenger side down at the inlets and some of the relo kit?

Are you offering a kit without the filters so we can use our existing DCI filters?

Thanks

We had to scrap that idea unfortunately, the OEM location DCI filters are just too large and they don't fit correctly

The car is being driven around for some testing, I'll take additional pictures when we get a chance!

Would there be any issues with RHD fitment?

I'd say no if this kit is made similar to the TFT kits, and thats without further modifications to make it fit for our RHD platforms

I believe this will require the same modifications the other kits do to mate up to RHD. Unfortunately we don't have a RHD vehicle available to mock up a kit for

Inlets and price look great so far Tiago, but just cut to the chase and give us a decent single turbo kit already!! So many headaches will go away after leaving stock/stock-sized turbo housings.

Will the new inlets be able to support an oil catch can (BMS) style as well as us guys that run diverter valves? Just need to know that and I'm ready to pull the trigger on pre ordering these. Also will a group buy be on the forum as well?

This. Wondering if these are worth the labor to install on a stock turbo FBO car running 93 - all depends on what the gains would be.

Definitely gains in terms of spool and holding power up top. Your turbos are also working less to make the same boost pressure, so you would be doing your snails a favor!

Any chance of a group buy for the inlets? I know the price is low as is but figured why not ask
