I ran a 13.5 in the e92 automatic saturday night without stalling it up or turning the A/C off.

now , with a better driver I'm sure it would've run faster. It's a great car stock.
I also put 5 cars on an '03 evo 8 w/ FMIC and catback (no tuning).

I really enjoy it and always smile when i'm driving it. If it were mine (it's my GF's) it'd already be modded. Unfortunately i'm in teh middle of big tranny upgrade in my VW Jetta that's taking up all my $$.

Jeff, again, i've driven a lot of evos in various levels of modification and the reason I don't have one is because I can't deal w/ a lot of the issues you're having with it...

Go 335. If you do it, I can talk Terence into doing it too.

True. All i know is MaxBoost ran a 12.6 with proceed and nothing else. That's fast for $1300.

Hey, I think we met at the track day...tall guy in a white Evo who asked you a bunch of 335 questions in the garage. Nice looking car (debadge too), thanks again for the info; especially that you were not having any temperature issues with the higher TT state of tune.

I had an Evo 8 stage 1 before the 335i. Had it for roughly 15 months and put 29k on her. Great car, would've had it still if I can drive in peace. Sadly the car just gets a lot of wrong attention..from the police and ricers.

personally i don't think you can compare the two. The 335 and the EVO are just two completly different worlds. On one hand you have a pure workhorse in the EVO and it does what it's designed, it goes fast, very fast. However the car lacks luxury and i hate to say this but.. class :\ The 335 is just a step up on soooooo many levels. I sit in that car for hours a week and absolutley love it. The ride, flawless. The acceleration, incredible. The females it attracts, hot:] + if you pull up to a meeting in a beamer, I personally think its much more respectable/classier than pulling up in a loud ass EVO. Ive never been happier with a car. Although I've only had an RX-8 before my 335, My PROcede is otw and I can't wait.

anyone else agree?

Evo 9 to 335i here. I personally think i made the right choice. From a roll my 335i pulls a lottt harder than my Evo, I've given acouple of my friends rides in it and they agree...they also own Evos. Honestly the only thing I miss about the Evo is launching at 6k RPM....it was such a rush. All i can say is you wont be dissappointed after the switch.

The only downside is the ever troublesome fuel pump. If this was fixed, then we'd all be happy campers.

Going from a 07 STi Limited to a 335i Coupe here. 1) can't pass up the deal i get here in Germany 2) more refined and wife won't complain on long trips 3) the coupe freakin' kicks ass
