Is this your dyno after getting those mods? I had around 215whp after I did all of those on my 328.

Yes my dyno, as listed above, is after the mods listed. The only way you could compare your dyno to mine would be if you and I went to the same place and did a back to back dyno. Honestly, comparing a dyno is worthless for anything but delta gains. However, with you being a 6MT and my car an auto the numbers would be close.

Ive had other dynos done that show 206 and 212, but they were STD corrected and not SAE. Again, dont put much thought into the graph since it has no delta grains.

I have everything you said minus the catless headers and 2ndary cat delete. see my results below. The car had new plugs, new fluids and was feeling great the day of my Dyno. To be honest at first glance I was dissapointed with the results. If you try and back calculate crank HP assuming 15% drive train losses (I can't remember where I read this) I still was only getting around stock numbers (252 HP to be exact). After more forum research all I concluded was without a baseline run on the same dyno, with the same outdoor air conditions, I would never know what my mods added. I will say nothing I have put on my car I regret. These are relatively simple and cheap bolt-ons. I can't say enough good things about the AA tune though, and IMHO it is a must buy for anyone wanting to go faster with a N52.
Do us ALL a favor and get a baseline before you start getting everything and see for your self what the mods will do! |

I do not have any photos to show. You'll have to take my word for it. I gained around 35hp and 30ft.lbs. Im hoping for an additional 20-25hp/torque with the exhaust change I have planned.

Isn't 20-25 HP/Torque optimistic? I hear the stock exhaust flows pretty good, it is just the cats that kill the power. Besides if you cut everything out it is going to be loud as @$!$

Dynos have shown around 15hp for the primary cat delete. Dynos have shown around 5-10hp for exhaust. I think a 20-25 hp gain is spot on.

Obviously you don't know how dynos work. You wouldn't say they were low if you did.

here is another two dyno'd same day, i guess with STD you gain about 2-3% more hp vs SAE, but thats still makes that 330i close to being 235 whp.
not sure what mod this one has this one with gruppe M rep and PE, no tune, second one is with tune. probably need count that 219hp out, since it was making about avg 218 with tune.

Please see my thread that shows deltas.
As Johnny said, a dyno without deltas is kind of pointless. The key is to go back to the same dyno and see the changes. The top end number isn't accurate as it vaires from dyno to dyno, but the "changes" is what matters. Take a look here to see the differences. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...highlight=dyno |
