Walnut blasting N54
Hi Guys, I just got my first car about half a year ago, which is an 2009 335i coupe. this is the first time I post on E90post.
I think it might be the time to walnut blasting the engine since spark plug and coil are all fine but the engine sometimes misfire and shakes even when I hit 3000rpm. I am currently living in Seattle WA and I want to know the price if I can find some local workshop that can get it done and less cost to my wallet. still a student studying in North Seattle College. AND! I think everyone are willing to click threads only when they have pics in, so here is some of my car's. welcome to comment and if possible, leave your e90/92/93 pics if you want! |

Hit up ihernandez7910. He is located in Lynnwood/Everett I believe... I recently picked up my 335i this weekend and will be using him for the service soon.

3000 RMP Misfire doesn't sound specifically like a walnut blast to me (though it certainly wouldn't hurt).
How do you know the plugs and coils are fine? |

Congrads nice car.
Replace your Coils, Plugs, air filter. Clean and swap Vanos Solenoids. and get it walnut blasted.....or at least. use a Borescope to see how bad your Ports are Baked. the cheapest Borescope is "Endoscope for your Phone" look it up on ebay for 15 and under. also at Harbor Freight for 60+ Then empty you Tank as much as Possible.....like 10 miles range left. then go to Chevron and fill up with the Best and Most Expensive. do 2 Tanks.....Back to Back. This will clean your Injectors. Then you can start looking into Vacuum line replacement cause you are almost due in an year or so. if you do all the above.....then you know when it was done, and you won't be chasing problems......every time they occur. inspection of intake ports is a MUST. |

Nice splitter. I see you've also been enjoying our "spring weather" of late...
Check out the Northwest regional forums on here. There are a few shade tree mechanics who do good work for fair $$. Also check out the meet threads! |
