Exclamation G5 Upgrade... New codes...Fuuddggee Me...

What's going on everybody?
Well today I finally upgraded my JB4 G4 board to the newer G5. The install went great until I dropped a screw somewhere down in the engine bay, which I can't find, hopefully nothing starts tearing up in there. Anyways after the install, I uploaded both hex files G5 ISO 19 and 20, since that was recommended according to the N54 Tech http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17441 and after everything was uploaded I went for a short 15 min. drive just to test everything out. As I was driving (map 3), a half engine light came on which said reduced power. I quickly pulled over and hooked up my laptop to read the codes because I've never had that error before. The errors I got where:

29E0 Fuel mixture control
30FF Boost under target -- possible boost leak

I did notice that the car was running richer once I started it up and I also know that the errors on those cars come and go, one day there's multiple codes and the next day there isn't. So I'm wondering is this one of those codes that I may just have to ride out untill the tune registers my driving or what? Now I'm wondering if staying with the G4 was better...if it isn't broke, dont fix it... well this is definitly my case now

did you change the settings in the software to G5ISO instead of G4? also codes disappears because you probably have the auto clear coding on?

Yes, that was one of the first things I did. I switched the settings to the G5 iso and then went to restore default settings. As far as the auto clear function, I did have it turned on due to the fact when I did have it turned off I could never get a duplicate codes. As I said earlier, one day the codes are there and then the next day there gone... or a newer one.

Option 1) is to post on e90post and hope some stranger is able to give you advice that may or may not apply to your specific situation.

Option 2) is to contact BMS for expert advice on how to correct the issue. Option 2) sounds better to me.

I figured out the problem. I noticed that the meth line going into the charge pipe looked the same throughout my quick sprints, trying to test out the G5. So then I checked under the trunk mount and realized that the hose was bent, preventing any kind of flow. Once I unkinked everything the low boost code went away. Now for some reason my bov doesn't make the swoosh sound any more, it's very suddle. I swear it's always something else. Now I have to figure out whats wrong with this mess. Hell, Im going to go back stock that seemed like the only time I didnt have a problem.
