Moto GP

I'm not a fan of motorbikes, but I must say I love watching Moto GP!!

It really is superb close racing and edge of the seat excitement!

Those guys sure have some balls...

I adore moto gp, gone to it loads when I was little.

Rossi rules Poor Lorenzo is having a dreadful season though

Love the Laguna Seca track too, if I ever go to America I'd love to drive it!

No car racing compares to the bike racing, hence I have no interest in F1 at all!! That is just boring.

The TT is just fantastic but so very dangerous, so many killed though that is part of the thrill, terrible really I suppose, there is another like it in Ireland which currently escapes my mind.

The Ulster grand prix - road race. Went there with some other biker friends years ago and you could sit behind the hedges at the side of the road with your head level with the hedge on one of the long straights. There is a very loud basso rumble and the road seems to vibrate - the bike is still about 400m away at this stage and it gets louder and louder 'till the bike flashes by about 18" from your head doing about 170mph. - Amazing feeling!

You all know my opinion of motorcycle racing! I hear there was some F1 yesterday, but with BSB, WSB and MotoGP on it didn't get a look in.

MotoGP is the pinnacle and the guys racin there really are the cream of a select bunch. What they manage to wring out of a bike is awesome.

Real Road Racing is something else. Total commitment from the guys who do it. Nigh on 200mph between the hedges takes a special sort of rider, and someone who is pretty much a specialist on the roads. Thoroughly nice guys who do a lot of their own spannering as well.

There are so many great road races today....
Cookstown, Tandragee, Athea, Scarborough, The Skerries, Jurby, Southern100, Manx GP, UlsterGP, and of course the big ones, the NorthWest200 and the TT to name but a few.

You can't beat being inches away from the racing, even when it's Lougher on a 125 with a broken exhaust that is so loud that it is physically painful!
