Rise and Drive Chicago (M3, M4, 335I, Ferrari, Lambo, Mclaren, Jaguar etc...)

Went down to Rise and Drive in downtown Chicago for the first time and had a blast! Lots of nice bmw's, some guys from Detroit (Motor city gumball) and lots of other nice cars! The Jaguar XJ220 and Ferrari 458 Speciale were definitely major attractions, but for me the 2 Mclaren 650s's were amazing to finally see in person!

Looks like it was a solid turn out!

It's always a blast. I live literally 5 minutes away but getting back late from HIN meant I didn't wake up early enough, except to hear lots of exotic exhaust notes ripping down Roosevelt to awaken me :P

I was wondering if you were going to show up. We only stayed til around 10:15, started to get pretty hot and it seemed like most the people who were going to show up did. Will definitely be back next month for this

Yeah they usually start clearing out by 10:30. I'll be there next month for sure. I haven't missed any R&D or SCS event yet but I was physically drained from lack of sleep on Friday night and Saturday night to make it out. About 5-8 of us local BMW guys from ChitownM usually come out. The weather looked perfect, too.

I found out about most of these on Facebook and just word of mouth from other shows, supercar Saturdays for example.
