F1 car specs ???

I know they have 90° V8 engines, 2.4 liter displacement, rev up to 19.000 rpm and have over 700 hp. Does anybody know how much torque they have and how it builds up?

18,000 this season. I still remember the 20,000 rpm seasons a few years back.

Here are the figures for the engines, the Mercedes engine seems to have the speed and reliability for the past two seasons.

Mercedes FO108X = 765Bhp
Renault RS27-2010 = 755Bhp
Ferarri 065 = 750 Bhp
Cosworth CA2010 = 743bhp

Don't know where you got those figures but F1 teams closely guard the exact power output of thier engines. Also each powerplant is hand built (obviously) and I'm willing to bet there are some variations between these engines.

F1 engines produce power by high revs. They have relatively low torque figures.

Hm, that's not equivalent to 03 E46M3 which has "only" ~330hp?

If it's 750hp @ 19k RPM is about 200 ft lb of torque at that RPM.

Guessing peak torque is maybe 250.

Keep in mind that even though the number is low, through gearing it is still far, far greater then that of an e46m2, 2-3 times greater, and that's whats important. (Why we don't pay too much attention to peak torque figures but do to horsepower figures)

So no matter what some people say, yea an f1 car is going to rock an e46 off the line.
