I'm gonna assume that DCT spins = the clutch pack is burnt out and the trans is slipping

This isn't the place to ask maybe, and sorry OP, but I still do not understand the bms flash. Does this need to be flashed through a cobb ap? And are people able To Run 100% e85 with this bms flash? ..without fuel upgrades?

BMS Flash just a BMS flash map for Cobb to help with the fueling and to be used in conjunction with the JB4. I can't say 100% e85 because I have never tested it out. I run only about 50/50 in the cold weather (probably only e70) and I am satisfied.

50/50 = e70?

I'm confused here. I'm thinking that is closer to e50 depending on how much ethanol is in your winter mix of 91

I am sorry. I meant the gas I buy at the station is probably only e70 instead of the regular e85 because of the cold weather. So e70 mixed 50/50 with 93. Sorry for the confusion.

No worries. Not sure what stations you go to but Propel fuels has the same winter and summer blend of e85

^ yup, road warriors. Was asking for clarification cause in his explanation he used spin to relate to wheel spin. His question didnt make sense to DCT slippage when as JB user in general about power and wheel spin. Also I detect english his not his mother tongue

Since it can be many things that you are discribing it could only be the following

Wheel spin causing the RPMs to jump then when traction is established the RPM would drop then climb again

If the Sport button is On, DSC on or off completely, then your clutch is slipping with the instant demand of power because the DME is reporting to the DCT values that calculate how much pressure to apply to the clutches to avoid slippage from increased HP. This is theory and not official yet. Still studying the DCT and DME language

For example: If your DME "thinks" the turbos are producing only 12 PSI the DCT calculates that into HP and then ups the bar pressure to 10 when in fact you are running more PSI and more HP, which causes the clutches to slip then leading to more heat which will lead to more slip

Brake Boosting is harmful to your DCT and will cause slippage if used too many times especially with your setup.
