Phoenix Leader, ETA Port Hueneme Jun 8

According to the ED department my car is on the Phoenix Leader. She left Bremerhaven on May 17 and is due in Port Hueneme on June 8. As far as I can find out her only stop is Long Beach on June 7. Anyone else on board? Anyone got any additional information about her trip?

Just checked the Port of Bremerhaven schedule and according to it the Phoenix Leader actually left on the 18th but is still scheduled to arrive Port Hueneme on Jun 8. The original departure was supposed to be May 15th, then the 17th, and was always scheduled to arrive on Jun 8th, so my guess is that the schedule for the canal is the gating item for the arrival. I have not been able to find a date for the canal crossing. In any event we are getting closer to the end of separation anxiety every day.

Neat! Could you tell the location of the ship on the map? I couldn't see a symbol for the ship.

yes - its the blue anchor. once moving I think it shows as a blue arrow. its delayed som hopefully its moving on. dont forget to check the English channel site and the Panama canal web cam.

Apparently you and your CA were correct, the Port Hueneme schedule now shows Phoenix Leader arriving on Jun 10th.

As I understand it that may be a little pessimistic. The car must go through customs (which is a black hole - but I have heard that non-ED cars clear customs while the ship is still at sea), then to the VPC where any transit damage is repaired, then to the trucking company (they have 48 hours to pick up the car from VPC and then truck it to your dealer with some stops on the way), and a day or so at the dealer for final preparation.

not sure about WA. from port Hueneme we normally get our car withint 3 days of docking.

does your come in thru Hueneme too ? either way prob at least a week for you which makes June 17-18 and that would be considered end of June.

I hear PL is fast and normally gets in early.

well its on PHOENIX LEADER so i think it probably will go thru Hueneme.
