To each their own.
I would prefer the simple look of the old shift knob or go BMW performance shift knob.

the f series shifter does not sit right in the e90. it looks like it sits too high. some people have cut the stalk to fix this but also the Park button doesnt work either... sits about as high and awkard as the new x1 shifter
my god.. its beautiful.

ditto (or is there another word for using ditto a 2nd time, which almost seems redundant, in and of itself)

Looks good but I'm personally not a fan that it doesn't function the way it looks. Also a manual boot would help too

If you like the New shifter, perhaps you can cut the shaft shorter so it'll fit nicely. Right now it looks too tall and out of place in the aesthetics of the interior.

That looks awesome; where could one purchase this?
As for OP, I always go back and forth on my opinion of it. I like the actual look of it, but it just feels 'off' in the E9X. It seems to clash with the overall aesthetics of our generation--definitely a love-hate relationship going on with it. |

I think new one looks better, having the symbols (P, R, D etc) is a littler redundant on both the car and the nob
nice change =]

This is the one I fitted to my car. Didn't have to cut the base either
